Mamba 2 Windows installation

To be able to use Mamba you will need Python. You can download it here.

Some libraries are also requested : Python Imaging Library or its friendly fork  PILLOW (recommended).

Windows installers

The Windows installers will allow you to install Mamba (and its various add-ons) for your Windows Python distribution. 

These installers work with Python 2.7 and Python 3.4 (32-bit and 64-bit versions). 

These installers work with any Windows  version (XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10). If you are using Windows 7 or 8, the installation for Python 2.7 may finish with an error message. Don't worry about it, this will not harm the installation.

Dependencies

VTK is needed only with Mamba 3D for displaying 3D images. Remind that VTK is not available for Python 3 yet. Installing version 5.10.1 instead of version 6 is highly recommended as version 6 binary used with Tkinter is bugged.
